About Me
I am a Master's student pursuing an MPP at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy. Previously, I completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Business and Computer Science and worked as a software engineer.
My academic interests are primarily at the intersection of frontier technologies and society. I am particularly interested in understanding how new technologies affect labor, migration, and livelihoods on a global level.
Currently, I'm a Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) teaching 'Introduction to Public Policy' to undergraduate students with Professor Amy Lerman. I am also conducting research with Professor Diag Davenport at the Responsibility Lab, exploring bias diffusion in algorithms.
In anticipation of my graduation in the spring, I'm seeking research positions where I can deepen my understanding of these dynamics and contribute to evidence-based policy solutions.
Experience, Writing, and Projects
Working on a project identifying algorithmic bias diffusion under Professor Diag Davenport.
Through the spring term and summer, I worked with Dean David Wilson on the Political Psycology of American Democracy. I performed cleaned datasets spanning multiple surveys, conducted literature reviews, and utilized the survey data to engage in my own research on Civic Flourishing.
Over the summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to intern at POPVOX, an organization focused on legislative capacity and government modernization. One of my contributions during my internship was a written piece informing caseworkers and congressional staffers about the content of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and how their workload may change following the bill's passage.
